When Microsoft was building its Windows operating system, the engineers created a keystroke that only they knew about. Control-Alt-Delete allowed them to reset any system, should something go sideways. It accidentally slipped into the public eye when it was inadvertently included in some update documentation. The rest is history. If you spent any time around Microsoft Windows or a PC, you know that keystroke and have used it to reboot the system when something wasn’t working. It’s time to apply that keystroke to life- Ctrl-Alt-Me.
Ctrl-Alt-Me is curated by Jimmy the Dean. Jim “Jimmy” Ehrman lives an exciting life, having had the privilege to lead a nonprofit fighting human trafficking, to be an academic dean and professor of leadership and culture at a graduate college, and examined people movements as the executive director of a think-tank at Yale University.
One thing remained consistent through all of those endeavors, Jim sought to help people understand themselves and others– catalyzing them toward meaningful changes in themselves and in the places they find themselves. He graduated magna cum laude from Yale University with a graduate degree in religious social movements, has a business management degree from Penn State University, and did his doctoral studies in leadership at Eastern University. WIth over 4500 up-front presentation hours spread across 25 nations, he now brings his people-insights to this blog.
